Revenue Controller / International Software Company

One of my clients, a leading software product development company based in the greater Boston area, has a Revenue Controller opening.

This is a new position. This individual will be responsible for managing the complete revenue cycle on a worldwide basis and providing senior management with financial and operational support. Responsibilities include managing the revenue/contracts process including determining the accounting for all software, professional services maintenance and hosting services orders received by the company. In addition the revenue controller will be responsible for the monthly revenue close process related internal controls environment, sales commissions and royalty reports.

Requirements:
- 8+ years experience focused in Revenue Accounting in the high tech community
- Experiences working for small and large international software development companies
- Recent revenue recognition experiences required
- SEC reporting and compliance would be ideal, but are not required
- Must be computer literate
- BA/BS Degree in Accounting; MBA or CPA preferred
- U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required
