Risk Manager

Key Role: Serve as a member of the risk management team supporting the Defense Finance and Accounting Service Base Realignment and Closure Master Integration Contract.?Maintain responsibility for identifying, tracking, and maintaining risk and opportunity assessments supporting the performance and operations of the DFAS BRAC effort, updating risk management processes and procedures as the program evolves, training contract and government personnel on the risk management program, and reporting priority risk and opportunity events to senior contract and government management.?Perform risk program tracking regarding cost, schedule, and performance and operations for risks and opportunities.?Schedule and facilitate risk and opportunity assessments on program and project workloads and initiatives, enter data into the risk management database, maintain the currency of the data, coordinate approval and closure of risks and opportunities with risk and opportunity owners, and contribute data to various reports and forums on a recurring basis.?Apply excellent interpersonal and time management skills and competence with using Microsoft applications.



Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with risk management

-Experience with providing support to government clients

-Knowledge of Microsoft Office

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with cost or schedules preferred

-Experience with DFAS a plus

-Knowledge of DoD risk management standards preferred

-Knowledge of risk management processes, cost estimating practices, and project schedule concepts preferred

-Ability to acquire a DoD Secret clearance preferred
