Royalty Accountant
The Upper Deck Company is a worldwide sports and entertainment company that is the premier leader in the field of collectible card games, trading cards, collectibles and memorabilia and that enjoys licensing relationships with many of the most famous personalities in the sports world.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Royalty Accountant to join our winning team!
In this role, you will provide analytical support for the royalty financial ledger and the general ledger. You will be responsible for the monthly reconciliation of the financial sub ledger, review IDOC errors, run spool reports after earnings postings and make any necessary adjustments. You will adjust ledgers for external market advances and payments, review monthly reports: advance comparison, new commitments, newly published titles. In addition, you will coordinate with business managers published write-offs and post to sub ledgers and maintain financial tables for RMS.
Education/Experience
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting/ Finance, CPA preferred.
3-5 years experience in related field.

The candidate must have advanced MS Office and Excel, JD Edwards One World preferred, In addition to core computer skills, individual must be comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment that is deadline driven, detail oriented and possess keen analytical skills.This position also requires strong interpersonal skills, an energetic, proactive flexible individual who can work independently and as a team player. Candidate must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, must be articulate and comfortable dealing with internal and external clients and the aptitude to prioritize assignments.
