Royalty Analyst

 

Duties:Read and interpret license and software development contracts to ensure contractual reporting obligations are met.Compile monthly sales and cost information generated from our SAP accounting system and other sources.  Maintain sophisticated Excel spreadsheets and prepare quarterly royalty statements which accurately reflect current and ITD sales, payments, and royalty expense.Audit incoming sublicense royalty statements for accuracy and contract compliance.  Research and prepare schedules for various internal analysis requests from other departments.Perform ad hoc projects and audit requests.Identify ways to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency of the department.

 Requirements

 ?  Bachelors Degree in Business or related field.?  Advanced knowledge of Excel, including VLOOKUP, nested ?If? statements and pivot tables.Self-starter with strong work ethic, solid organizational and analytical skills, and attention to detail.Ability to multi-task, juggling multiple projects while being flexible to frequently changing priorities.Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Ability to interface and communicate professionally with all levels of management.

 Preferred Skills

 Experience in reading and interpreting Intellectual Property contracts.2+ years of royalty or participation experience in the entertainment industry.Experience with SAP, or similar ERP system.

 

Experience with general ledger accounting and month end processes a plus.
