The State and Local Tax (SALT) Associate will have the following responsibilities:



Provide SALT research and consulting support to practice of 14 professionals within the Southeast region. SALT Associate candidate will support state income/franchise tax, sales and use tax, cost segregation and property tax services.


Integrate state and local tax services with new and existing
clients, with a focus on building the service offering.


Provides timely, high quality client service that meets or
exceeds client expectations.


Provides advice that enables client to increase shareholder
value.


Delivers profitable services that appropriately utilize Firm
and client resources.


Keeps abreast of changes in industry regulations


Initiates ?pull through? business to other practices


Identify opportunities to cross-sell various SALT
opportunities, including cost segregation services.

Position Requirements:



To be considered, candidates should have:



Minimum of 1 -2 years experience in Audit or Tax services in a Public Accounting or Tax Consulting firm. State and Local Tax experience is a plus.



A Bachelor?s degree in Accounting and/or law degree, or closely related field.



Ability to travel within assigned geographical area.



Additional Experience Preferred but not Required:



Masters of Taxation or MBA- CPA or other sales/use tax (CMI) certification Equal Opportunity Employer
