SAP expert??? We need you!!!

About the Company: Our client is an international publicly traded pharmaceutical company on the verge of explosive growth!! They are looking for a SAP expert with an accounting background to join their team and help build the department!

 

 Business Analyst / SAP Super User
Support user business needs in the SAP Finance/Accounting application. Creates user and/or system defined reports for Finance via SAP software writing tools (Report Painter and Report Writer); troubleshoot Finance related SAP issues and serve as a technical expert for SAP transactions. This requires knowledge of the business and software package capabilities/shortfalls
Perform AD Hoc analysis as required by using SAP.
Work with management in the oversight of discovery research and pre-clinical development organization and infrastructure.
Assist in the preparation of expense budgets in support of planning processes
Maintain Company?s books and records according to US GAAP according to the time line established to meeting all internal and external reporting requirements
Maintain, monitor, identify deficiencies and recommend solutions to the internal control structure at Idenix in a Sarbanes-Oxley environment.

Essential Functions:
As a functional SAP expert, will support the Finance area in all SAP related issues in a multi- country, multi-currency, and multi-set of books environment and will also provide accounting, reporting, financial planning and financial analysis support to discovery research and pre-clinical development groups. 

 

 

Qualifications:

 
Bachelors Degree with emphasis in accounting or finance; CPA / MBA preferred Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, MBA preferred
5 years SAP super user experience (4.7 Enterprise/4.7 R/3, 4.6c R/3 ......) within pharmaceutical, medical device or biotech organization.
SAP configuration experience/exposure
Cost accounting/inventory control background 
Willing to travel 25% if required 
Excellent communication and organizational skills

Compensation & Benefits:

 
Salary: $75-100K plus bonus
