SEC Accountant
An Exclusive Opportunity A global service company head quartered in New York City is seeking a SEC Accountant for their Corporate Headquarters. The organization has roughly 3,800 employees with offices throughout North America, Europe, and Asia Pacific. Responsibilities:
? Review all financial statements and regulatory filings, including forms 10-K and 10-Q for compliance with GAAP and SEC rules and disclosures.
? Advice on appropriate accounting structure of acquisitions, dispositions, mergers, transactions.
? Recommend alternative accounting transactions to achieve desired results.
? Take full responsibility to maintain up-to-update knowledge of new peropsed accounting developments as they related to SEC matters.
? Analyze the effects on the company?s financial condition and operating results.
? Assist managers in identifying, assessing and controlling compliance risk through-out transactions and filings.
Requirements:
? Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting.
? 1 or 2 years of public accounting experience.
? CPA or CPA candidate preferred.
