SEC Manager for Publicly Held Oil and Gas Client! Equity Incentives!

Do you want to work in Greenspoint for a publicly held Exploration and Production firm? In the near future this organization will be moving to the Downtown or Galleria Area so candidates that are open to this area this may be the perfect role. This publicly held firm is looking for a Senior Financial Reporting Manager. In this reporting Role you will be hands on with filing the Q?s and K?s as well as Financial Statement preparation. Candidate should have strong knowledge of supporting schedules, quarterly and annually, and maintaining GAAP compliance. Candidate will be aiding in the general ledger closing process by reviewing financial information, perform analysis and investigation and record journal entries, as needed. Candidates should have 7 plus years of financial reporting experience and candidates should have there CPA or passed parts of the Exam. In the short-term this will be a stand alone position and will have daily interaction with the Chief Financial Officer.  A Bachelors degree in accounting is a must.
