SEC Reporting and Accounting Manager (06-10R)

This position, reporting to the Controller, is responsible for ensuring that the company's financial records are maintained and reported in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, and that all required external reports (e.g. 10k, 10Q) are prepared in an accurate and timely fashion. Manage ongoing SOX activities and provide general accounting management and support.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

SEC Reporting will manage process for preparation and filing of Forms 10Q, 10K, 8K and Proxy. Participate in the writing of all report sections along with shepherding reviews from outside counsel and auditors.

SOX Management: Continue maintenance and other activities to insure compliance.

Perform general accounting activities. Keep abreast of current accounting and legal requirements related to the company's accounting and reporting activities.

Research, documet and present to executive staff, finance team and when appropriate the Audit Committee recently issued accounting standards and new disclosure requirements applicable to Aradigm.

Internal accounting and financial policy development. Review processes for efficiency and accuracy.

Support FP&A and other accounting funtions.

Minimum Education Typically Required: Undergraduate Accounting Degree and CPA required

SEC reporting experience required
Minimum of 3 years Big 4 accounting and auditing experience
Minimum of 6-10 years overall experience "hands on"
SOX management and 404 experience
