SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - SEC REPORTING
SENIOR ACCOUNTANT - SEC REPORTING
The Senior Accountant SEC Reporting will assist in the preparation of Consolidated Financial Statements and other Financial Analyses and Reports.
Located in downtown Chicago, this is the ideal position for an experienced, highly motivated individual capable of functioning in a very fast-paced corporate environment. Interested and qualified individuals please send your resume in word format to resume@hgi1.com .
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
? Assist in the monthly consolidation process and preparation of the Consolidated Financial Statements.
? Assist in the preparation of supplemental reports and analyses.
? Responsible for special accounting projects and reports including budgets, acquisitions, divestitures, and foreign and domestic subsidiaries.
QUALIFICATIONS
? A Bachelor?s degree required, major in Acounting is preferred.
? CPA or working towards a CPA preferred.
? Three to five years of private or public accounting; Big 5 Public Accounting preferred.
? Experience with Hyperion consolidation software and international accounting desired.
? Ability to maintain and report on confidential information in an appropriate manner.
? Strong quantitative and qualitative analytical problem solving skills, detail-oriented.
? Strong time management skills, including ability to manage multiple activities.
? Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
? Excellent written, verbal communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
EDUCATION
A Bachelor?s degree is required with a major in Accounting preferred.
CERTIFICATION
CPA certification is preferred or working towards CPA certification.
COMPENSATION
A compensation package has been developed for the successful candidate that includes a base salary of $80-90K.
