 JOB DESCRIPTION

The Senior Auditor will have exposure to all levels of the organization, as well as contact with outside advisors and consultants, and will evaluate a wide variety of key financial and operational process.

Day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing, evaluating, and making tactical recommendations for the correction and/or improvement of internal, operational, and management control systems and organizational unit performance.  The winning candidate would join an innovative, motivated and enthusiastic Internal Audit department where there is significant potential for growth and development. 

This highly visible position will play a strategic role in assisting the Company to meet the requirements of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.  The position will be actively involved in planning, documenting and assessing the efficiency and effectiveness of critical financial processes.  In addition, the position will play an important role in the planning, execution and reporting phases of each internal audit project.

This position requires the jobholder to maintain a high level of diplomacy, discretion and confidentiality.  Decisions are made often within the jobholder's area of control. 

 

QUALIFICATIONS

?Bachelor's degree in accounting, business or equivalent required. CPA required.  MBA or CIA a plus.

?Four + years experience in an auditing role.  Big Four experience required.

?Exceptional analytical skills, sound business judgment and the ability to generate positive relationships with internal and external business consumers. 

?Superb communication skills, including strong writing and presentation skills as well as proven influencing and persuading skills.

?Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, as well as an ERP system, preferably Lawson and/or Oracle.
