SENIOR INTERNAL AUDITOR--CENTRAL NJ--LOW TRAVEL--TO $85K + BONUS

Our client is a $2 billion Consumer Products Manufacturer/Distributor located in Central NJ. Under the direction of the Audit Director this Senior Auditor position is responsible for financial and operational audits for the corporation and its subsidiaries.

 

Duties include:

 Assist the Audit Director in developing the annual audit plan.Plan and perform financial and operational audits.Develop audit programs to evaluate internal controls for area being auditedPerform compliance and substantive testing to evaluate controls and to identify areas for improvementDocument audit results and maintain effective working papers to support audit comments and recommendations.Prepare audit reports outlining finding and recommendations to be communicated to top management and audit clientsConduct follow-up audits to ensure recommendations are implemented.Assist external auditors in year-end auditSpecial projectsOvernight travel ? 25% or less.

QUALIFICATIONS:

 

Candidates should be CPA?s with 4-6 years of Pubic Accounting/Corporate Audit experience, preferably with exposure to consumer products companies. Good oral and written communications skills and computer skills (Excel and Word) are required.
