SENIOR POLICY ACCOUNTANT
Our client, a leading national mortgage lender dedicated to the preservation of a positive work/life balance, is currently seeking a SENIOR POLICY ACCOUNTANT.
The established candidate will be a CPA with 6+yrs Big Four accounting experience and in depth knowledge of GAAP, SEC and other related industry regulations. This individual must possess strong technical and research skills combined with effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to translate complex accounting issues into simplified layman?s terms.
Responsibilities of this position include:
? Monitor and assess all Accounting Policy and financial reports, identify and address any inconsistencies
? Prepare and review of all quarterly and annual financial statements within specified time frames.
? Assist with the implementation and maintenance of Sarbanes- Oxley compliances.
In addition the incumbent will be available to:
? Participate on various committees and attend external conferences
? Provide assistance to external auditors and assist with accounting research projects
? Assist with the education of personnel on accounting issues and prepare materials for related deliberations.
Our client offers a salary in the $115K-$125K + attractive benefit package.
