Automotive Lease Guide (ALG), Inc. in Santa Barbara, CA is looking for a hands-on Senior Staff Accountant who will be responsible for all accounting operations and financial reporting to Corporate Accounting for division of a publicly held company



SENIOR STAFF ACCOUNTANT



RESPONSIBILITIES:

o Preparation of monthly/quarterly financial statements including cash flow analyses for division

o Prepare and review, journal entries, expense analyses and account reconciliations

o Review monthly customer billings, ensure proper cut-off and revenue recognition

o Work with Product Managers and division executives to prepare budgets and forecasts

o Assist division executives, corporate CFO and corporate Controller on special projects as needed.



QUALIFICATIONS:

o Must have a Bachelor's degree or higher.

o CPA strongly preferred.

o Minimum of 5-7 years experience with general accounting functions including month-end close and preparing financial statements.

o Must have experience working in Public accounting.

o SEC/Public Company financial reporting experience a plus

o Ability to work well in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment.

o Ability to self-motivate and self-prioritize with minimal supervision.

o Strong attention to detail required.

o Must be proficient in Excel.
