SOX Compliance Analyst
Finance Department

SUMMARY:
The Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Compliance team at {our client} plays a key role in driving and continually improving the global processes needed to keep {our client} an innovative and competitive organization. {our client} has an immediate opening for a SOX compliance analyst with a drive for assisting in defining and maintaining global processes within a team environment. This position reports directly to the Company?s SOx Compliance Manager.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
? Monitor changes to process documentation (narrative, control matrix) including risk monitoring
? Develop test plans and testing of the Company?s internal control environment
? Assess the impact of new guidance pertaining to Sarbanes-Oxley on the Company
? Proactively identify gaps or conflicts in existing processes and develop scalable solutions
? Communicate control weakness to process owners and senior management and prioritize remediation based on risk
? Educate and train business owners on SOX requirements and implementation
? Train and supervise junior analyst in testing and SOX requirements
? Interact with internal audit, external audit, senior management and the business owners
? Work independently as well as part of a team
? Prepare status reports of the SOX compliance project

QUALIFICATIONS:

? Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or related field
? CPA preferred
? 7+ years of overall experience with an organization comparable in size
? Experience and understanding of Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
? Strong written and verbal communication skills
? Strong analytical and research skills, detail-oriented
? Strong computer skills (especially word, excel, powerpoint)
? Oracle 11i experience (preferred)
