This position is primarily responsible for the planning, supervision, coordination, performance and documentation of field work for assigned audits and ensures that audit procedures adequately address the identified risks of each audit area in an effective and efficient manner, including automation of procedures whenever possible; conducts and participates in exit conferences with appropriate bank personnel and prepares written audit comments and drafts of reports outlining findings and recommended actions to issues noted during each audit; actively seeks to learn about current business, accounting and audit issues, particularly those related to assigned area(s) of banking industry specialization; and participates in special projects, including loss control, due diligence for proposed acquisitions, and analysis of issues, as requested.
o For Sr Corporate Auditor: Extensive knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and auditing standards
o For Sr Trust Auditor: Extensive knowledge of trust rules, regulations, and operations as well as auditing standards
o Advanced knowledge and understanding of banking rules, regulations, and operations
o Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFE)
o Excellent analytical, decision making, problem solving and organizational skills
o Excellent oral and written communication skills
o Excellent PC and software skills
