Sr Analyst - ERP Support

The ERP team provides functional support on the Oracle Applications for the Global Corporate Accounting and Finance teams and as a liaison between the functional teams and the IT development and DBA teams.

Responsibilities:
? Acting as a liaison between the functional teams and the IT Development and DBA teams on system issues, enhancements and projects
? Assisting the accounting and finance teams in researching, documenting, and resolving functional issues relating to the Oracle Applications Financial Suite
? Work with the functional teams to develop detailed documentation of system enhancements and business cases supporting the enhancement requests
? Working with Oracle Support on issues requiring technical assistance requests (TARs)
? Assisting in the coordination of the Oracle Finance Application Suite?s testing and release processes
? Providing ad hoc training on system functionality as requested by the business owners
? Ensuring that system issues are resolved in a timely and efficient manner to meet the month-end and quarter-end deadlines of the accounting and finance teams


Requirements:
? Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting or IT
? Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or financial operations (i.e., a strong accounting foundation is a must).
? Experience working in a customer support role
? Experience with the Oracle Financial Applications
? High competency in Excel, SQL/PLSQL and Discoverer
? and enjoy working in a dynamic and challenging environment. This position works with and coordinates activities among persons in finance, accounting, auditing, and IT; excellent interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal) and organizational skills are a must.
? Knowledge of Remedy, Hyperion Essbase, and Microsoft Access preferred.
