SR. FINANCIAL ANALYST ? INVESTMENT SERVICES

 

Prestigious downtown Boston headquartered financial services leader has a key position for a promotable financial analyst.

 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

This individual will provide financial analysis & reporting, budgeting, forecasting and strategic support to multiple business units.  Specific responsibilities include:

? Prepare monthly and quarterly financial analysis presentations for senior management

? Provide ad hoc reporting and analysis in support of strategic initiatives

? Participate in the annual budgeting process and provide analysis of actual results to plan

? Develop new reporting and analysis to support current and/or future needs

? Assist in the implementation and development of client and product level profitability analysis

? Participate in revenue and expense analysis activities and make recommendations to management concerning financial issues and trends

? Provide support to site Controllers in Europe and Asia

? Liaison with Controllers, Billing, Systems and other internal groups to resolve issues

? Act as an agent for change by seeking continuous improvement and striving for excellence

 

EXPERIENCE/QUAL/EDU: 

? Bachelor's or Master?s degree in Accounting or Finance

? Ability to act confidently and influence others across the organization

? Understanding of financial/accounting principles and systems

? Strong analytical, planning and implementation skills

? Understanding of product, industry and finance trends and concepts

? Superior client service skills with a strong sense of urgency 

? Excellent oral and written communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

? Excellent organizational skills: ability to manage many concurrent responsibilities

? Minimum 5 years related work experience including writing financial commentary; financial services preferred

 

SALARY:
To $85,000 + Bonus
