SR. STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Private healthcare facility seeks individual to join accounting department. This position requires an individual to be highly analytical in nature, who thrives on working multiple projects simultaneously. A positive mental attitude with a strong work ethic is vital.

 

Essential Responsibilities:

?  Completion and maintenance of the general ledger and financial reports within ACCPAC Accounting software.

?  Annual budget preparation and maintenance

?  Preparation and maintenance of Fixed Asset schedules

?  Directing the Annual Fixed Asset Inventory

?  Prepare monthly Sales & Use Tax Analysis

?  Complete account reconciliation with supporting schedules

?  Payment of annual property taxes

?  Payment of annual occupational licenses

?  Bank Statement Reconciliation

?  Additional responsibilities include generating and analysis of billing reports maintained in our Medical Manager System.

?  Maintain strict confidentiality

?  Complies with GAAP

 

The ideal candidate:

?  Has Bachelor?s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Information Technology

?  Promotes team work and company vision

?  Has strong analytical and problem solving skills

?  Is detail oriented

?  Has experience with ACCPAC and advance Excel, Word, Access  and Crystal Report Writer knowledge

?  Can complete assignments within established time parameters

?  Has excellent time management skills

?  Exceptional communication skills
