SR. STAFF ACCOUNTANT - Financial Reporting -- CPA and Big Four experience a huge plus!

Bachelors or Masters degree in Accounting strongly preferred. Minimum 2 years experience in financial accounting for a CPA firm or large company (4+ years preferred). CPA or MBA strongly preferred. “Big Four” accounting firm experience preferred. CPA strongly preferred. Thorough knowledge of financial accounting, including a sound understanding of overall accounting process, financial statement preparation, related disclosures, and current knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). Real estate and lease accounting experience preferred. Advanced expertise in PC spreadsheet application (Microsoft Excel) strongly preferred. Proficient use of PC word processing application (Microsoft Word). Microsoft Access is a plus! SEC reporting experience preferred. The ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment with time constraints. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong accounting research skills
