STAFF ACCOUNTANT - TECHNOLOGY FIRM
STAFF ACCOUNTANT - TECHNOLOGY
We have an immediate need for an experienced Staff Accountant to be responsible for the accuracy of general ledger balance sheet accounts and the preparation of journal entries to adjust and reclassify balances in the accounts.
Other responsibilities:
Analyze, research and reconcile balance sheet accounts.
Review and analyze income statement accounts.
Prepare and adjust monthly journal entries.
Assist in monthly closing process.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS:
2 to 3 years accounting experience, ideally in a fast paced payment processing environment.
Solid skills in Microsoft Office Products; Excel, Word.
Experience with Great Plains and/or FRx report writer a plus.
Strong analytical skills, accuracy and attention to details are critical.
Excellent written and oral communications skills.
Highly organized, with the ability to multi-task and to meet deadlines.
B.A./B.S. in Accounting and/or Finance.
