Salaried Professional Senior Accountant

The Salaried Professional Service (SPS) is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant with solid communication skills to work on special projects directed by our clients. Duties include monthly and year-end financial reporting, financial analysis, budget preparation, creation of management reports, consolidations and tax filing. Additional projects may include cleanup efforts, audit preparation, software implementations, internal controls implementations, process documentation and interim fill-ins. Advanced skills are required with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access. Significant experience with several financial software packages or enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems is a plus. Qualifications :
The successful candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and 5+ years of experience. A Masters Degree in Business Administration, Accounting or Finance is preferred, and professional accreditations such as a Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant are a plus. Experience with cost accounting and cost analysis in a manufacturing or construction environment is a plus. The position requires strong technology skills, particularly with Microsoft tools such as Excel and Access. Experience with Crystal Reports or Hyperion, and a working knowledge of at least 2 of the following software packages is a must: SAP, Oracle Financials, JD Edwards, MAS90/200, Great Plains, Quickbooks Pro, Peachtree, or Timberline.
