The InSource Sales & Use Tax Team is responsible for complete delivery of innovative software solutions that provide automation of transaction tax determination, calculation, and compliance reporting.    Our offering includes both the Sabrix Application Suite, as well as the InSource Sales & Use Tax compliance software.  The Sabrix Application Suite provides complete transaction tax management for U.S. and international tax authorities and (via integration) further unlocks the value of leading ERP platforms for complex, domestic and globally distributed companies.  The Sabrix Application Suite integrates with virtually any ERP system (i.e.; SAP, Oracle, Peoplesoft, JD Edwards, etc.), and delivers (real-time) transactional interaction with these systems. 

 

The Sales Engineer manages multiple prospective clients and develops business cases that meet customer requirements.  A Sale Engineer works directly with Account Managers to develop complex proposals, demonstrate the Sabrix application, field technical questions, close sales, and determine how third-party partners can assist in the sales process and delivery of professional services.  A Sales Engineer serves as the ?domain? expert in dealing with prospects? tax, IT and system administration professionals and should reflect an in-depth understanding of prospects? IT environments. 

 

Also includes:Assisting in determining tax and business process re-engineering alternatives to assist clients with meeting their business objectives. 

 Articulate implementation methodologies to prospective clients

 Engage RIA Professional Services and third-party partners as needed in sales activity and proposal development.

 Transition project strategy, objectives, scope, and implementation to RIA Professional Services upon closing client opportunity.

 Communicate market conditions and information to Product Management.

 

Position will necessitate significant overnight travel.  Position is not limited to normal office hours.  Travel and over-time hours may be required with minimal advance notice.

 

This is a mid six figure opportunity, complete with full benefits and a 50% match on the 401K.

 

Qualifications:

 

?BS/BA degree in Information Technology or Computer Science

?Must be able to demonstrate analytical/critical thinking

?Strong organizational and time management abilities

?5+ years business systems architecture experience.

?Understanding of major ERP systems (SAP preferred) and other financial systems technology

?Experience working directly with clients to determine/develop business requirements related to enterprise financial systems

?Experience participating in technical consulting and development projects

 

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

 

?Excellent written/verbal communications and presentation skills a must

?ABAP software development experience

?SAP R/3 MM and/or SD configuration and use

?SAP R/3 FI configuration and use (as it relates to MM and SD)

?Experience working with clients to determine transaction tax requirements, particularly with enterprise financial solutions

?Experience with integrating third party enterprise tax products (e.g. Taxware and/or Vertex) a plus

?Previous Sales experience in a technical capacity
