Sarbanes-Oxley Supervisor

Do you analytical and enjoy reviewing business processes to enhance procedures?  Are you a supervisor who enjoys working with staff to assist in execution of fieldwork?  Can you identify risks and develop recommendations while presenting your findings?  Our Sarbanes-Oxley Supervisor is the position for you!

 

As a Sarbanes-Oxley Audit Supervisor you will our compliance team.  In this role, you will report directly to the Sarbanes-Oxley Manager.  You will review business processes; identify risks and controls and develop related audit procedures; execute field work as well as supervise and review work of additional staff assisting with the execution of fieldwork; develop value-added recommendations to address control weaknesses and issues.  In this role, you will also coordinate with internal and external auditors as needed.  This Supervisor role will require interaction with all levels of company personnel from staff through executive management. Your travel may range between 10% and 20% annually in order to perform compliance testing at our Canadian subsidiary.

 

To be successful in this role, you should have a strong knowledge of the Sarbanes Oxley Act.  You should be results oriented with strong process improvement skills.  Strong analytical ability and decision making skills are required.  You should also have excellent written and verbal communication skills coupled with experience in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).  Other requirements for this role include:
A minimum of 3 years progressive experience in public accounting, internal audit or an audit related function (required)
Previous business process analysis experience (required)
Retail industry experience (preferred)
CPA or CIA designation (preferred)
Four year degree in accounting, business or related area
