Sarbanes Specialist

 

At Ajilon Finance Solutions we recruit, assemble and place dynamic teams of senior-level finance and accounting professionals on a project or interim basis to meet the needs our clients.  We are currently recruiting for Sarbanes Oxley compliance candidates.

 

Responsibilities:

Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) Consultant needed for one to two month project with strong possibility of longer engagement.

 

Client located in the Orlando area is looking for an experienced Senior Auditor to review Sarbanes submissions from the field to determine if the field work in terms of controls, testing, and risk are appropriate.  The responsibilities for the position include:

  Review test plans from the field for completeness regarding adequate control testing and risk assessment Determine if procedures are obsolete or redundant Recommend changes to plans and submissions to Management for implementation

 

 

Requirements: Bachelor?s degree in accounting, CPA preferred  but not necessary 3/+ years progressive audit and / or large-scale internal audit experience Experience performing financial, system and operational audits Strong knowledge of GAAP, section 404 compliance, and COSO  Exceptional client service and communication skills Proven experience in assisting clients utilize IT and entity level controls versus transactional controls  Local candidates preferred but not required

Salary/Pay Rate: $30 - $45/hour
