Sector Controller/Accounting Manager

SRA International, Inc is looking for a Sector Controller to support our Defense Sector at our Northern Virginia site in Fairfax.  The Sector Controller is a key member of the financial management team, supporting the business requirements of the Sector as well as Corporate Finance requirements. The position requires diplomacy and working collaboratively with all levels of management. Significant industry experience and a substantive knowledge of the relevant financial and accounting principles are required.

 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

?  10+ years of experience at a government contractor.

?  Bachelors in Accounting or related field.

?  CPA strongly preferred.

?  Public accounting experience and management experience in the government contracting industry is required.

?  Substantive finance and accounting operation experience, including budgeting and forecasting and a firm understanding of monthly closing processes.

?  Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements as applied to contract accounting at a government contractor.
