Senior Accountant 1/Senior Accountant 2/Senior Lead - Job# 06-051

Duties: Duties could include verification of financial statements and notes for Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and Securities and Exchange Commission, compilation of SOX control documentation and development of related procedures, preparation of account analysis, variance explanations, forecasts, and accounting vouchers for monthly close, analysis and tracking of capital projects, preparation of invoices for reimbursable

projects, review and development of capital project justifications, processing of retirements and unitizations of assets, accounting research, and system administration and support.

Skills/Experience Necessary/Educational Requirements:

Strong analytical skills; experience in use of Excel spreadsheet required; Access and/or Business Objects skills preferred; knowledge of asset accounting; BS in Accounting or

Finance (at least 24 hours of accounting required); minimum of three years of financial accounting required for minimum grade.
