Senior Accountant

RESPONSIBILITIES: 



Responsible for maintaining the financial records.  Also, under the direction of the Controller will prepare the monthly financial packages including analysis of major variances to Budget and prior year data.   Responsible for maintaining the financial records. Will advance to highest level of quality through continuous improvement of our service delivery system and strive to exceed customers? expectations.

DUTIES:

Under the direction of the Controller, prepares journal entries and inputs same into the General Ledger as required.

Under the direction of the Controller, organizes and prepares monthly MAU financial packages for distribution to operating managers.

Assists the CFO and Controller in the design of reporting systems to collect relevant financial information, as well as to track all financial interactions with customers, employees, and temporary staff.

Makes recommendations in the data processing activities as they relate to the finance function to ensure speed and accuracy of financial information and operating statistics that will help enhance the profitability and growth of those portions of the corporation.

Works closely with the CFO and Controller on all financial issues including financial planning, capital acquisition investments, and financial reports.

REQUIRED:

Bachelors degree in Accounting/Finance or some related field

One year plus in accounting field

Ability to work well with minimum supervision and under pressure

Ability to manage multiple tasks

PREFERRED: 

Masters degree in Accounting or Finance

Three years plus in accounting department

Ability to interface well with all levels of personnel

Operations Manual Sections - 20, 22, 26
