Senior Accountant Analyst - Strategic Initiatives

Major Responsibilities include:
Possesses a Strong Working Knowledge of the Process and Procedures within Real Estate accounting for leases and fixed assets
Serve as business partner to develop/enhance system processing capabilities for Real Estate Processes including Global processes external to the CSSC
Facilitate the process to identify, track and report Real Estate Processes performance metrics
Use analytical skills to identify and act on opportunities for process improvement for Real Estate Process.
Prepare implementation plans and lead implementation of process improvements, procedures and standardized policies.
Support the Real Estate process group in the development of best practices, standardized policies and procedures and realization of world-class performance and quality measurements.
Find alternative ways to achieve objectives when faced with obstacles.
Use analytical skills to identify and act on opportunities for process improvement.
Create various ad-hoc reporting and support special projects.
Develop knowledge of Real Estate Process accounting to support the fixed asset, lease payables and property tax monthly and quarterly reporting needs.
Demonstrated project management and critical thinking skills from both a deliverable and management perspective
Demonstrated success at business partnering and ability to influence peers and senior management
Ability to deal with competing priorities and meet aggressive timelines
Ability to drive results and achieve goals with little direction
Ability to be effective and persuasive
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills and the ability to identify relevant information and financial metrics

Demonstrated ability to create or modify procedures to solve complex or abstract problems for which there may be no existing policies, procedures, exist or are inefficient.
Accountable for maintaining excellent customer service and meeting department commitments

Minimum Qualifications are:
Strong Access skills, and programming experience a plus
Strong problem identification, presentation, and resolution skills
The ability to communicate effectively and persuasively to all levels of the organization
Good written and verbal communications skills
Proficient knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint. MS Project experiences a plus.
Strong knowledge of financial and operational systems required
Knowledge and experience with Oracle Fixed Assets a plus
Knowledge and experience with RetaiLease application a plus
Six Sigma project management training experience a plus
The ability to plan and direct multiple projects simultaneously
Bachelor?s degree in Finance, Accounting
4-6 years of Finance or Accounting experience
MBA or CPA a plus
3 years experience in Real Estate Processes a plus
Possible out of state travel required
