Senior Accountant - Corporate

Nationally recognized, public, growing company has a newly created position within their Corporate Accounting Team for a Senior Accountant. In conjunction with the Accounting Manager, the Senior Accountant will participate in the month-end closing of the general ledger, prepare month-end journal entries and assist in the research and determination of how to account for new transactions. This position is one of a team responsible for the accounting for all of the corporate entities and offers a good deal of exposure to senior management.

 

This position is an ideal step from public accounting into industry or from a staff or senior accountant position. The ideal candidate has 4 to 7 years experience in a public company, public accounting experience and a CPA is preferred.
