Senior Accountant summary:
Our client, a renowned Fortune 500 healthcare company, is currently seeking a Senior Accountant to work at their office in Edina. Consulting opportunity at this outstanding company in an expanding Industry is available immediately. Will be working on an accounting integration on a project basis. Looking for a seasoned Senior Accountant to be the go-to person in the group. Will not have any direct reports, but must have an extensive understanding of accounting principles and be very detail and time-oriented.
Senior Accountant is responsible for: Extracting data from various reports and providing insight to team members on Oracle. Managing general accounting, including financial statements and completing legers. Performing cost accounting, statistical reporting, month-end close activities, and auditing as necessary.
Must have a high level of expertise in corporate accounting. Don't miss the chance to work as a consultant for this highly reputable company!
Requirements: MUST have at least 4 years of Accounting experience. MUST have solid experience completing ledgers and financial statements. MUST have Oracle and PeopleSoft experience. Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance is HIGHLY DESIRED. MUST have experience with data extraction. MUST demonstrate project management and leadership skills.
