Senior Accountant, Global Financial Reporting

Tempur-Pedic, Inc., the world leader in specialty sleep systems and related consumer products has an opening for a Senior Accountant in our Global Financial Reporting department at our Lexington, KY headquarters. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the production and distribution of consolidated financial results for Tempur-Pedic International Inc. and its subsidiaries.

The essential duties of the position include but are not limited to:

? Consolidate monthly, quarterly and year end financial results

? Analyze and compare monthly financial results to budget and forecast

? Coordinate and work closely with all subsidiary financial managers to collect and consolidate their monthly results

? Filing of quarterly Forms 10Q and annual Form 10K with the SEC as required for public companies

? Provide support for quarterly reviews and annual audits performed by external auditors

? Supervise staff in completion of accounting functions

? Research accounting issues to ensure compliance with US GAAP and SEC Reporting requirements

Experience and other requirements include:







? BA/BS degree in Accounting/Finance.  CPA/MBA a plus.

?2-5 years related experience and/or training in consolidating financial statement preparation and reporting.  Big 4 experience a plus.

? Knowledge of US GAAP and experience in consolidated financial statement preparation and SEC reporting required.

? Knowledge of foreign currency translation rules a plus.
