Senior Accountant
North Wales, PA

In this role you will be responsible for revenue recognition; supervise and update project information stored on financial system and project binders; interact with project management and other staff as appropriate to create accurate revenue forecasts and maintenance of backlog reporting. The selected candidate will also support operations with all aspects of financial analysis to ensure profitability. You will also be responsible for general accounting functions including: preparation of monthly financial statements, journal entries, monthly account reconciliations, intercompany, and fixed assets. Additionally, you will create and maintain management reporting packages; be accountable for analyzing monthly results; support preparation of budget; maintain compliance with corporate reporting requirements; prepare adhoc analysis and schedules as requested by senior management; support external audit processes as it relates to applicable areas; and be responsible for special projects as assigned.

The qualified individual will have a Bachelor?s degree in accounting; CPA preferred; 3+ years experience in an accounting environment. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook) is required. Must be deadline-oriented with the ability to prioritize work within given timelines. The individual will have the ability to interact with individuals from varying functional areas. Strong attention to detail in maintaining integrity and accuracy of financial systems and procedures. Experience with general ledger packages a plus (Quickbooks, SUN Financial). Travel is required, which will be up to 50% first 3 ? 6 months and then expect to taper to approximately 10 - 25%. Willingness to work in a dynamic, growing company with ability to learn new systems and processes.
