The Senior Accountant, Personal Property Tax will be responsible for preparation, review and timely filing of personal property tax returns, ensuring that assets are classified correctly and reported to appropriate jurisdictions. 
Review/analyze assessment notices to ensure that jurisdictions have accurately reflected the filed returns. 
Review and timely payment of personal property tax. 
Provide timely response to audit notices/requests. 
Develop the annual budget for personal property tax and assist with monthly reconciliation process. 
Perform tax research and provide guidance to those outside tax department. 
Serve as a resource to business units on tax-related issues.

Relocation is available for this position.



Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree required

3 plus years tax technical knowledge and experience preparing and reviewing personal property tax returns for a multijurisdictional organization

Experience with the following computer programs: PTMS or Vertex required

Detail Orientated

Negotiation experience

Ability to multi-task

Conflict resolution experience

Excel - Intermediate user at minimum
