Senior Accountant Position Available

 DESCRIPTION

Hinda Inc., located on the Southwest side of Chicago near Sox Park 10 minutes from the loop, has an opening for a Senior Accountant position. This position reports directly to the Controller and is responsible for all aspects of the general ledger. The candidate will coordinate month end and year end close with the rest of the department and help supervise the accounts payable department. In addition to closing the general ledger this person will be responsible for account reconciliations, interface with other departments, assist with sales tax compliance in 14 states, and fixed asset accounting.

 

The ideal candidate will progress into an Accounting Supervisor or Accounting Manager position.

 REQUIREMENTS

The ideal candidate will possess a 4 year degree in accounting and have at least 3 years general ledger experience. Experience with general ledger account reconciliation is a must and PeopleSoft/Crystal Reports experience is a big plus!
