Our client

A Fortune 1000 Milford-based manufacturer and distributor with a long history of profitability and financial growth.  At present, they are re-aligning several key business processes in order to build a corporate infrastructure that will drive continued growth going forward.

 

The selected candidate will report into the Accounting Manager and help to upgrade and improve the Financial Reporting function. 

Specific duties will include:

1. General ledger account analysis and maintenance.

2. Ownership of divisional P&L and all accompanying analysis.

3. Drive process improvement related to financial reporting and financial systems.

4. Provide effective coordination and communication with Senior Management

 

Prospective candidates will possess the following skills/experiences:

1. Public accounting experience or solid accounting experience within industry.

2. Solid analytical and interpersonal skills and a dedication to teamwork.

3. Strong financial systems skills.

4. BS in Accounting or Finance, MBA and/or CPA certification preferred.
