Senior Accountant in Folsom!!! SACAJC-20539

A mid-sized manufacturing company, rapidly growing due to their success is looking for a dynamic, sharp and friendly Senior Accountant to join their winning team.

Responsibilities:

? Assist with month-end close process.

o Prepare and publish monthly close schedule.
o Prepare journal entries with full supporting documentation and reconciliations for all cash and investment accounts, all current (other than inventory-related accounts) and long-term assets and all current and long-term liability accounts.
o Reconcile subsidiary ledgers for A/R, A/P and fixed assets to the general ledger.
o Prepare roll-forward schedules for all reserve accounts and fixed assets.
o Calculate and record monthly sales commissions.
o Create and maintain monthly close binders and subsidiary account binders (i.e., fixed assets).
o Assist with the preparation of financial statements and monthly management reports.

?Prepare assigned schedules for interim and year-end audits. Provide external auditors with support and assistance during interim and year-end audits.

? Assist with variance analyses and other projects as needed.

? Assist in the enhancement and maintenance of internal controls and procedures.

Profile:
? Ability to rapidly analyze complex situations and advise insightful solutions.
? Articulate, persuasive thinker who has the ability to manage both up and down.
? Excellent presentation, communications and negotiation skills.
? Experience in a Big 4 firm is a plus.
? Entrepreneurial in spirit, flexible and a self-starter.
? Thrive in a fast-paced environment. Ability to wear many different hats and has a ?roll up your sleeves? mentality.


Requirements:
? 7+ years of relevant experience.
? Strong general accounting background.
? Past work with both large and small companies.
? Experience with a large ERP system.

A Bachelor?s degree in Finance or Accounting is required. CPA/MBA preferred
