Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

A Miami-based globally recognized firm with approximately 600 employees.

 

Position Opening:

We are seeking a Sr Accounts Payable Specialist who:

? Can handle a large volume of invoices on a daily basis

? Verifies and validates vendor invoices.

? Allocates expenses to the correct general ledger account

? Initiates appropriate check run deadlines with Controller?s approval and mails checks

? Supervises a staff of two A/P clerks

? Meets month-end and year-end deadlines, processes accruals

? Will work well with vendors and establish good working relationships

 

Education,Qualifications and Skills Required:

-  Minimum 3 to 5 years progressive A/P experience

-  Must have excellent computer skills in Excel and other Office Applications

-  Must be flexible and able to adapt to a changing environment

-  Must possess excellent communication skills

-  Able to multi-task and work well under pressure

-  Strong organizational skills a must
