Senior Analyst II, SEC Reporting

Major Responsibilities: Lead role in the preparation of sales press release, quarter SEC filings and annual report.
Prepare financial statements and review quarterly schedules for executive management.
Perform financial statement analyses and prepare written presentations of financial analyses, clearly illustrating conclusions reached and recommending actions as appropriate. Assist with the implementation of new accounting standards. Assist with external audit and quarterly reviews.
Benchmark results of audit and communicate status of audit with management.
Work with Investor Relations regarding preparation of financial press releases.
Prepare various competitor analyses.
Perform special projects as required by executive management.
Interact with Business Partners to streamline existing processes.
Take lead role in rolling out new reporting initiatives.

 


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in business, with accounting emphasis.
CPA required. 
4 to 6 years of related business experience,
Big 5 public accounting combined with industry experience a plus.
SEC reporting experience.
Strong technical accounting skills and familiarity with accounting research tools.
Strong interpersonal, teamwork and project management skills.
Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to maintain effective business partner relationships. 
Strong analytical and problem solving skills. 
Initiative, judgment and ability to improve processes. 
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
Experience with Hyperion Essbase and Oracle 11i, a plus
