Senior Associate - IT Audit (CIPS)

Job Description -- Our Systems and Process Assurance (SPA) Services offers you the opportunity to broaden your career while presenting many exciting new challenges for a qualified IT systems audit professional. SPA focuses on ongoing IT operations as opposed to point-in-time testing and certifications. The Systems Trusted Assurance mission is to provide management with independent assessments of business risk, regulatory compliance, internal control assessments, and the efficiency/adequacy of business systems and processes. As a "hands-on" Senior Associate, you will have the opportunity to consult with a variety of industry clients on issues ranging from IT systems compliance, business process optimization, profit improvement, internal control reviews and various risk assessments and security. This outstanding opportunity affords an experienced consultant to develop and utilize skill sets not usually required in other types of auditing. Additionally, SPA offers an opportunity to focus on and learn about business processes that are not emphasized fully in our current role as external auditors. You will work closely with our clients and PwC management at all levels in developing IT audit findings, compliance issues and recommendations. Assignments will be large, high profile client companies with exposure to a wide variety of challenges and learning opportunities. You will lead and you will support as a team leader and a team member in some of the following areas: Systems Risk Assessments and Audit Plans; Performance of System Audits; Sale of Value-Added Recommendations; Development and Clearance of IT Audit Reports; and Build Client Relationships. As part of the IT audit team, you will help plan and execute technical and general control audits, business process/application controls reviews, systems development/conversion reviews, as well as various other consulting engagements. You will work with a large variety of systems environments including SAP, PeopleSoft, JDEdwards, mainframe, midrange, LAN/WAN and client server environments. You will apply integrated auditing concepts and work closely with financial audit and internal auditors.

Degree in Accounting with a minor in MIS or Computer Science


Job Requirement Essential

SAP, Peoplesoft or JDEdwards experience a plus
