Senior Bookkeeper and Office Manager

Duties:We are seeking a full time Office Manager & Bookkeeper for our Architectural / Engineering Firm located in the Tampa Westshore area.  We have a great office - it's full of fun, opportunity and challenge.  However we are seeking a person (and are willing to pay top dollar) to an energetic, bright, reliable, detail oriented, organized person who has a numerical aptitude, perhaps some past work experience in the building or legal professions and general typing/computer skills.  Most of our procedures are in place and functioning well. We need an individual who puts out a quality work product and wants to work for a well-established quality firm. Bookkeeping Skills: Client Billing (monthly)Accounts PayableAccounts ReceivablePayroll (staff of 30 individuals - Direct Deposit)Bank Account Reconciliation (1 Operating Account, 1 Payroll Account)Data Entry / Job CostingMonth End Materials preparation for CPA Admin Skills:Other duties include those typical of an Office Manager....ordering office supplies, shipping packages, organizing filing, maintaining project lists, etc. We are a very busy office and the position requires someone comfortable with a multi-taking environment and a good understanding of typical software such as electronic funds transfer for payroll, excel, wind2 accounting or peachtree accounting software.Education Requirements:We recognize that "on the job experience" can be more valuable than a degree.  It is what you can do that counts.  We retain a CPA firm to prepare our monthly and year end statements and tax returns.  If you have a degree, great!  If you don't but you've got the knowledge and experience, WONDERFUL!  Our salary is based on what you can do, not your diplomas. Our benefits are: Salary:  In excess of $50,000 to $70,000Work Hours: Monday-Thursday (7am to 4:30pm).  Friday (7am to 12 noon)Insurance:  Firm pays for 70% of health insuranceDisability Insurance:  Firm pays for 100% insuranceDental Insurance: Firm pays 50%Paid HolidaysClosed between Christmas & New YearsRetirement ProgramBonuses Firm Background:We are located in the Westshore Area of Tampa Bay.  We are convenient to St. Petersburg and Clearwater.
