Senior Business Manager, PB&T

Job Description

The Senior Business Manger is responsible for working directly with their Market, Product Solution or Competency Business Unit Leader ensuring they achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly financial goals.  In addition, this individual will be providing strategic financial direction to the teams in order to improve client profitability, processes and ?value-add? direction to the business. Run business models on client pricing and profitability for current clients and for new clients; includes interfacing with Sales Team and other SEI teams to support new business development effortsPerform budget projections, analysis and variance reportingWork with managers to balance team expenses and adjust plan accordinglyDevelop pricing models for existing and future clientsReview and approve budget changes and ?close the books? monthlyAssist in the development and administration of client and vendor contractsDaily interaction and communication with teams

 

Requirements8-12 years of financial/accounting experienceCPA and/or MBA preferableRelevant Industry Business experienceAbility to work in a team environment and wear ?many hats?Outstanding communication skills and ability to work with people in all types of rolesMust be assertive in regards to budget and its constraintsAbility to multi-task and manage priorities is a mustStrong proficiency in MS Office Suite, including Word, Excel and AccessExperience with automated accounting systems a plus
