Williams Lea is seeking an experienced individual to join our Corporate Purchasing Department, specializing in E-procurement.

Job Responsibilities:

-Analyze supply/service sources
-Prepare, write, and review formal & informal bids
-Process orders and confirm dates
-Maintain overview of purchasing practices for e-procurement, to ensure company guidelines are respected while receiving the best goods and prices available
-Investigate suitable supply sources for various materials, goods, and services and recommend changes where appropriate
-Produce analysis in Excel
-Negotiate price, terms, and conditions with existing and potential vendors
-Perform price analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
-Perform market surveys and analyze cost/pricing data to determine reasonableness of prices offered


Job Qualifications:

-Minimum of 3 years of corporate purchasing experience in a professional environment
-Bachelor's degree is preferred, equivalent experience acceptable
-PeopleSoft Purchasing experience necessary
-Extensive knowledge of purchasing/procurement methods and controls required
-Strong quantitative & qualitative analytical skills
-E-procurement experience a must
-Deadline-focused
-Strong written and verbal communication skills
-Detail-oriented team player
-Proven ability to manage projects with little or no supervision
