Senior Commissions Analyst

Our client is looking for a contractor to assist within their Sales Finance Group. The Commissions Analyst ensures that the client company pays its external sales partners and representative companies their earned commissions in a timely and accurate manner. The role is also responsible for transforming revenue from pre to post-split, some customer aliasing, the accurate processing of commission transactions, owning and enhancing the commission system, related SOX compliance activities, month and quarter-end Sales Finance accounting activities, and related management analyses. The selected candidate must be well versed in distributor and deferred revenue accounting, experienced with Oracle-based tools, and performing independent financial analyses as well as excel at communicating cross-functionally.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, MIS, or an equivalent related field with thorough understanding of distributor/deferred revenue accounting. Candidates must understand SQL to help troubleshoot system issues. Experience with Oracle systems and database tools (Discoverer) is required. Candidates must have the ability to work well with other departments such as IT and Sales Operations. Experience with performing independent data and financial analyses are required.
