Senior Consolidations Accountant

Reporting to the Director of Financial Reporting this position is responsible for the preparation of the financial consolidation for corporate worldwide.  The consolidation includes GAAP and non GAAP financial statements, segment and group financial statements, profit plans, flash reports and other special projects.  The consolidations and other management reports are prepared using systems that utilize Hyperion Enterprise software. This position is charged with keeping these systems responsive to changes in the legal and/ or management reporting structure of the Company and changes required by new GAAP requirements. This position performs a high level review of financial data submitted for consolidation by the operating units and has frequent interaction with US and foreign unit controllers to resolve potential problems. This position will play a key roll in the development of new management reporting systems to be developed in 2006.

 

Job Responsibilities:

Consolidation of monthly financial results (Including adjustment and elimination entries).Consolidation of annual profit plan and periodic updates.

 

Preparation of other consolidated financial information as required or scheduled.Perform high level reviews of financial data reported by units and communicate potential problems to the unit Controllers.

 

Adhere to procedures that ensure data consistency and integrity.Prepares Excel / Hyperion Retrieve models for financial analysis.



 

Job Requirements:



Bachelor?s degree in Accounting or Finance with 4-6 years of related accounting and computer applications experience. Current in US GAAP.  Experience with automated financial consolidation applications in an international setting. Strong written and oral communication skills.  Working knowledge of PC applications. Knowledge of Hyperion Enterprise and Hyperion Retrieve.  Ability to operate under tight deadlines and work overtime when necessary is essential.About Hudson Financial Solutions
