Reporting to the Director of Internal Audit, this position is primarily responsible for Sarbanes Oxley Section 404 compliance and communication of results to management.  Uses independence and judgment to recognize and resolve problems.

 

Responsibilities:

? Updates all documentation relating to Sarbanes Oxley Section 404, performs tests of controls and identification and remediation of deficiencies/weaknesses in order to ensure an unqualified opinion.Identifies new risks and assistance in developing controls to mitigate risks in current or future business processes.Completes audits of other policies and procedures as deemed appropriate by the Director of Internal AuditCommunicates audit results to management both via written communication and formal presentationMaintains auditor relations as it relates to SOX 404Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements:

 Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent from a four year college or university and 4-6 years related expereince.CPA Required. Experience with GAAP and publicly held organizations.Strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills; attention to detail and accuracy in work; and time management and organizational skills.Demonstrated presentation skills.Knowledge of various accounting software packages and Microsoft Office with proficiency in EXCEL.  PeopleSoft experience preferred.
