Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

We currently have a dynamic position available within our Corporate Accounting Group!

POSITION DESCRIPTION Will conduct research on accounting issues for company transactions. Also, researches and implements new accounting standards for CTS. Assists in the preparation of SEC filings. Prepares monthly consolidated financial reports for management, including reports for equity based compensation, earning per share, and other month-end reports. Prepares account reconciliations for Corporate general ledger and other non-operating unit ledgers. Conducts quarterly balance sheet reviews for operating units. Maintains equity based compensation system for an accounting perspective Maintains adequate documentation of work, internal controls, and processes as required by CTS policies and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. Completes numerous special projects as required.REQUIREMENTSPosition requires a bachelor's degree in accounting with a minimum of 5 years of experience. Knowledge of GAAP and SEC reporting requirements is essential. CPA with a minimum of 3-4 years of public accounting experience. Position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to conduct technical accounting research coupled with good writing skills.
