Senior General Accountant

Job Description: As a Sr General Accountant you will work in the dynamic downtown Minneapolis headquarters of this growing company and report directly to the VP of Finance and Administration.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Financial statement preparation, including actual vs. budget variance analysis;
Assist in annual budgeting;
Consolidate corporate budgeting and determine cash flow needs;
Monthly, quarterly and annual closings;
Work with external auditors to review financial statements;
Special projects as assigned to support the rapid growth of the company.
The ideal candidate will possess the following:

BA in Accounting, and 5-8 years related work experience;
Strong PC skills with proficient knowledge of Excel;
Excellent written and oral communication skills with the ability to work with various personality types;
Proven analytical and problem solving abilities;
Extremely curious, detail oriented and accurate;
Highly motivated self-starter;
Ability to work with confidential information and issues;
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines;
Willingness to work in a fast-paced and exciting environment;
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics/Great Plains software and international accounting;
