Our client, located in Chicago, is seeking a Senior Information Technology Auditor to join their team.  This position reports directly to the Director of Internal Audit.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 Performs Information Technology Risk Assessments as needed to determine where audit effort should be focusedAs determined by audit scope, reviews and assesses information technology controls / procedures and ensures compliance with key policies and proceduresFor Sarbanes-Oxley 404 (SOX 404), responsible for maintaining process documentation as well as developing and executing I/T testing activitiesWork closely with leadership to develop action plans addressing issues identified in testing activitiesThoroughly document audit work and compile audit work papers to support audit results and conclusionsActs in an advisory role for I/T Projects providing recommendations on system controls and process improvements

 

Requirements:

 Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Information Technology3 - 5 years experience in I/T AuditSarbanes-Oxley  Section 404 I/T testing experienceProficient in the techniques and principles associated with information technology auditingAvailability for domestic and international travel as required up to 30%
