Senior Internal Auditor – $75-$90k

RESPONSIBILITIES · Schedule, review, and evaluate the work of assigned staff to ensure audits and reports are consistent with generally accepted standards

? Train staff in work procedures, evaluate performance, and administer effective discipline as required

? Perform a variety of audits, determine the audit objectives, audit work plans, extent of compliance with applicable laws, ordinances, established policies and identified work standards and processes, through the use of questionnaires, data analysis, statistical sampling and interviews, in order to evaluate accounting methods and the effectiveness of internal and management controls

? Draft audit reports and recommend improvements in efficiency, effectiveness and financial controls; review findings with division and department heads, and the Country Manager

? Make practical and reasonable recommendations in the audit report to improve the control deficiencies or process related issues. Discuss the audit findings and audit recommendations with line management and agree on implementation timeline

? Establish strong relationships with senior managers as you identify efficient and effective ways to help control their operations

? Assist in drafting the corporate policies and procedure for efficient and effective management of business processes

? Determine audit objectives, audit work plans, extent of compliance with applicable laws, ordinances and established policies, to ensure consistency with generally accepted auditing standards

? Knowledge of Accounting principles

? Bachelors and 3 to 6 years experience
